GPS tracking is gaining in popularity
daily with the availability of checking speeds, locations and driving
distances covered.

GPS tracking can be used to provide customer service at its finest. A
fleet manager knows at once which of his drivers is closest to the
customer who needs help. If a vehicle is making a delivery, he can tell
the customer exactly when to expect the truck.
Employers using GPS tracking receive information on how fast each
employee is driving, how long they remain immobile (taking a break), and
if they are where they’re supposed to be. It can also monitor fuel usage
based on how fast and far the employee is traveling and remind you when
to schedule maintenance. GPS tracking eliminates the need for truckers
to fill out driving logs.
Many insurance companies offer discounts for vehicles equipped with
tracking systems.
